A gentle, highly scenic ridgeline connecting Monte Costone, Monte Sertore, and Monte Pasquella, located above the village of Pigra. Throughout the hike, we’ll enjoy sweeping views plunging down over the entire Como branch of Lake Como, in a superb and little-frequented setting. The route has no significant technical difficulties — a basic level of aerobic fitness is enough to fully enjoy the day.
MEETING POINT: 7:30 a.m. – Carrefour Como parking area (contact us for alternative arrangements)
HIKE START: 9:00 a.m.

A few days before the hike, a WhatsApp group will be created with the latest technical details and meeting logistics.
From Pigra (880 m)—a charming village overlooking Lake Como, accessible from Val d’Intelvi (the cable car to Argegno is currently out of service)—follow the signs for Bocchetta di Pigra. Shortly after the last houses, take the uphill mule track. After a few ups and downs, you’ll reach a junction: turn left and, following the ridge for about 10 minutes, you’ll arrive at the bocchetta (mountain pass).
From here, continue along the wide ridgeline running parallel to the lake, offering splendid panoramic views. Soon you’ll reach the summit of Monte Costone (1,441 m, trig point), then retrace your steps back toward the pass to follow the ridge further, alternating between short climbs and descents to reach Monte Sertore and finally Monte Pasquella (1,318 m) — a natural balcony directly overlooking the lake.
A varied and accessible route along a gentle, panoramic ridge, dotted with mid-altitude peaks and offering spectacular views over Lake Como and the Val d’Intelvi.
