Rules for participation
What you need to know before enrolling
Introduction
The environment in which the proposed activities take place is, by its very nature, challenging and presents
objective and intrinsic risks that cannot be completely eliminated, not even through the Guide’s
intervention or the application of risk management procedures provided by them.
The most significant objective risks connected with this type of environment and activity can be exemplified
— but not exhaustively — as follows:
a) falling rocks, trees, or parts of them, objects moved by animals, or other items falling from above;
b) sudden changes in weather conditions;
c) risk of slipping or losing balance while progressing on the trail;
d) onset of tendon injuries due to fatigue or improper use of limbs;
e) possible physical and/or psychological overexertion;
f) sunburn, heatstroke, and/or sun-related skin conditions;
g) improper use of technical equipment;
h) limited or delayed accessibility of rescue services in case of an accident.
It is therefore essential that participants are informed in advance about the characteristics, difficulties, and
risks they may encounter during the activity, as professional guidance requires the accompaniment of
people who are fully aware of the challenges involved.
Participants are therefore required to provide the necessary information regarding their experience and
skills so that their request to join the specific activity can be properly assessed.
To mitigate the typical risks of these activities, appropriate technical clothing and equipment are required.
Participants will be provided with a list of the necessary gear.
Participant Obligations
Participants are required to comply with these Participation Conditions, and in particular:
- follow the instructions of the Guide;
- assess their own abilities and health in relation to the chosen activity;
- inform the Guide in advance of any health issues or conditions requiring special attention;
- have the required equipment and clothing;
- observe general rules of common sense, diligence, and prudence;
- behave respectfully towards all other participants.
The Guide is not responsible for damages arising from personal initiatives of participants that do not
comply with the instructions given.
Guiding Service
Activities are carried out in natural environments with the accompaniment of qualified professionals who
comply with insurance requirements and legal standards.
The Guide guarantees the best possible conditions of service quality and safety, acknowledging that
outdoor activities are never entirely risk-free.
For reasons of safety and quality, the Guide has the right to modify the program and itinerary — before or
during the activity — depending on weather conditions, participants’ actual abilities, or other decisive
factors.
Activities may still take place in case of rain, snow, or wind, provided conditions do not compromise safety
or quality of service. The Guide reserves the right to modify or cancel the activity if weather conditions
require it.
